challenge
Back in 2013, CTM faced one of our biggest challenges as a company when our project with the UNO Soccer Academy hit a major speed bump.
Just as we were in the heart of working on the complete design and build of this three-story, doughnut-shaped building, the governor pulled funding on the project. To make matters worse, this was just one day after we set our eight RTUs onto the roof—and we hadn’t yet been billed for the equipment we set.
solution
Our company, faced with a hold on our biggest project yet at $2.5. million, didn’t know when funding would be reinstated. Yet that didn’t stop us from turning this sh!%#y day on the job around.
Catherine made calls to every supplier and vendor, keeping everyone informed at every step of the way. It was one of our first major lessons as a company: Communication is always key. We kept in regular contact with the general contractor to share all the information we had with our subcontractors and suppliers until funding picked back up about 60 days later.
