There’s something about the start of a new year that always gets us thinking about the past—especially when that new year rings in an entirely new decade.
Just ten years ago, CT Mechanical was two years old. We may have grown, and times may have changed, but the core of CTM has always remained the same. We started last decade with a resolution to deliver a fresh approach to HVAC and a finely tuned mix of smart solutions, strong relationships and zero B.S. While some familiar CTM faces have changed along the way, our values, reputation and service have ensured we’ve kept that resolution to this day.
Now, with 12 years and countless projects under our belt, we’re taking a look back at everything we’ve accomplished together over the past decade. From the landmark projects that helped shape our business to the culture we’ve built along the way, we couldn’t be prouder of all the work we’ve achieved while servicing the crap out of our clients—and becoming a whole new breed of mechanical contractor along the way.
Let’s Take a Trip Down Memory Lane
There’s never been a dull year at CT Mechanical, and the proof is in the last ten years alone. For every year of the past decade, we’ve had milestone moments that defined our future and strengthened our obsessive HVAC enthusiasm.
2010 – We began last decade with a feature in Crain’s Chicago Business magazine covering Catherine’s resolution for the new year. Her choice? Diversifying our service offerings.
2011 – 2011 gave us the opportunity to dive deep into establishing the vision behind the CTM brand—the same vision that drives our company today.
2012 – We moved into our second facility in 2012, also gaining our WBE and DBE certifications along the way.
2013 – We spent 2013 focusing on tightening up and customizing our estimating program and proposals, plus building out our benefits for employees.
2014 – In 2014, Catherine’s vision for diversified service offerings was fully realized when we started our own Service Division and put eight trucks on the road.
2015 – CTM made headlines in five different publications in 2015, including being named #23 of Crain’s Chicago Business Fast 50.
2016 – In 2016, we purchased the new home of CT Mechanical, a 16,000 square foot office and warehouse in Addison, Illinois, as well as added five more trucks to our fleet.
2017 – A big change that shaped our 2017 was the further development of our CTM brand, expanding on our mission, values and purpose to really home in on what sets us apart in the world of HVAC.
2018 – 2018 was a landmark year, from Catherine being named as a 2018 Influential Woman in Business by the Daily Herald Business Ledger to hosting our very first She Builds Chicago Happy Hour.
2019 – In 2019, we finally passed the milestone 20M mark by surpassing 24M in revenue. What a way to end the decade!
